On December 26, 2025, our beloved husband and father, John Josiah, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his devoted wife; his children and grandchildren; his nephews and nieces; and a wide circle of extended family and loved ones.
Professor Josiah will be lovingly remembered for his wisdom, his passion for education, zeal for politics and his deep commitment to uplifting others. He believed in the power of knowledge and spent his life encouraging and inspiring everyone he encountered. His voice and presence made a lasting impact poltically both in Liberia and in the United States.
A true philanthropist at heart, Professor Josiah lived a life of service. His home was always open, his heart always welcoming, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was a father to the fatherless, a mentor to those seeking guidance, and a friend to those in need of companionship. Though he will be dearly missed by his family, his legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with love, kindness, and compassion.
